Converting fractions to Repeating decimals.

Textbook pg. 138, question 10.
Letter b.

You had to convert the fraction to a repeating decimal & put the bar notation to the repeating number.

1. I took the denominator, 3 and divide it by itself and turned into 1.

2. Divide the 2 by 3 because whatever you do to the bottom, you have to do to the top.

-2 divided by 3 is 0.6666...
-Repeating decimals go on forever.

Then I put a bar notation on top of the repeating number which is the 6.
The bar notation is the red line.
