Adding and Subtracting Fractions with Unlike Denominators

We must find the common denominator.
Common Denominator- a common multiple of the denominators of a set of fractions.

After that, you just add the numerator.
And then you are done!

    I liked your little instruction on your picture.
    But, I would've liked you to include converting the 1 sixth.
    Overall, it was still a pretty good explanation!
